Lorsay is a musical collective. Located all over France (Avignon, Marseille, Versailles), its 4 founding and permanent members shared the same trip-hop band before deciding to resume service in 2020 in order to write and compose new songs remotely on the model of one of their musical reference: the band “the postal service”. In February 2020, Lorsay is releasing a first self-produced EP “dead melodies for the nobodies” around 7 entirely musical tracks. Deeply marked by electro (Aphex Twin, Django Django, Goldfrapp, Moderat ...), alternative rock and post rock (Mogwai), cinematographic universes (The cinematic orchestra, Woodkid, ...), trip-hop and RnB (Portishead,Dj shadow, Mazzy star, Jorja Smith…), Lorsay decides to take the adventure further by opening his microphone to voices from all over the world to enrich their musical universe, such as Israeli jazz singer Avigail Danino, Texan rapper Sam Jacob, or singer of English metal Dan Picknell.

Their next single Underwater will be released on April 20, 2021, accompanied by a music video made with the participation of world freediving record holder Arnaud Jerald. Their next 7 tracks EP is scheduled for June 2021 with a visual universe directed by portrait photographer Samuel Kirszenbaum.
